 Christee began keeping books in the fall of 2003, after spending time in college working for a CPA firm. She has a BS in Business Administration from Oregon State University and an AA in Accounting Technology from Linn Benton Community College. 

As a young girl, Christee knew she wanted to follow in the professional steps of her grandmother, mother and aunt. After 13+ years in the software marketing industry, she decided it was time to leave the corporate world behind and branch out on her own...thus, the birth of The Books! She enjoys the flexibility of setting her own schedule and loves the client-base she has built.

Christee is the proud mom of Cameron, Katie and Elizabeth and enjoys spending time with her husband, Ed, their dogs, Tillie, Gilbert and Benson, and their cats, Hank, Oliver and Lucy, as well as granddaughter, Kennedy!

 Education and Professional Expertise

Tera received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Finance with a minor in Economics from the University of Oregon.  She has spent several years working for great organizations such as Sony, Onstad’s Insurance and for the University of Oregon Foundation. Tera’s hands-on-experience with corporations, insurance companies and universities has given her a well-rounded background and is a tremendous asset in tackling challenges head on. 

Personal

Tera grew up in northern Montana and enjoyed living in Big Sky country before making Oregon her home.  She enjoys running, volunteering, attending numerous sporting events of her three children, and exploring new outdoor adventures on weekends with her family.

 Education and Professional Expertise

Katie graduated from Corvallis High School in 2019 with academic honors and her seal of biliteracy in Spanish. She is currently attending her fourth year at California Polytechnic State University - San Luis Obispo, where she plans to get a degree in Liberal Studies (Early Education) with a concentration in Spanish. Katie has helped The Books! with many bookkeeping assistance tasks over the last five years, and has experience with basic bookkeeping needs. 

Personal

Katie grew up in Corvallis, Oregon, and played many sports during her younger years. She played basketball and softball through high school, and earned all-league honors for softball while she was a Spartan. Katie enjoys the beautiful California weather that allows her to spend time at the beach with her friends, as well as spend time outside working remotely or doing homework.

Education and Professional Expertise

Ricky graduated from Liberty High School in 2019, earning valedictorian honors and becoming an LHS Academic Honor Student. He is attending his fourth year at California Polytechnic State University – San Luis Obispo, pursuing a BS in Mathematics. Ricky has experience in clerical work after having worked at Logoluso Family Farms as an office assistant. He is new to the bookkeeping business and is eager to explore this career field.

Personal

Growing up in Madera, CA, Ricky enjoyed being outdoors and playing sports. He played basketball and ran cross country for Liberty High School. He also was a jumper in track and field, and earned first place in the league in triple jump. Outside of sports, Ricky enjoys eating, watching movies, and spending time with his dog, Nancy.

Education and Professional Expertise

Sandra was born to be an an accountant; she would play store so she could use her mom's calculator as a cash register and fill out receipts. She began taking accounting classes at Crescent Valley High School and went on to graduate from Oregon State University with a BS in Business Administration.

After graduating she worked in public accounting for a few years in Corvallis, before relocating to Oakland, CA. She has 20 years of experience working for professional service companies, holding positions such as Controller and Manager of Finance and Administration. For seven years, she was self-employed and was formerly licensed to prepare taxes in the State of Oregon and California. She has worked in a variety of industries and for profit, not-for-profit and government entities. 

Personal

Sandra still resides in the San Francisco Bay Area and currently works as a contractor for an international staffing agency. She enjoys being challenged and loves to learn new things. She is very excited to be working for 

The Books! with her niece, Christee.
