Christee began keeping books in the fall of 2003, after spending time in college working for a CPA firm. She has a BS in Business Administration from Oregon State University and an AA in Accounting Technology from Linn Benton Community College.

As a young girl, Christee knew she wanted to follow in the professional steps of her grandmother, mother and aunt. After 13+ years in the software marketing industry, she decided it was time to leave the corporate world behind and branch out on her own...thus, the birth of The Books! She enjoys the flexibility of setting her own schedule and loves the client-base she has built.
Christee is the proud mom of Cameron, Katie and Elizabeth and enjoys spending time with her husband, Ed, their dogs, Tillie, Gilbert and Benson, and their cats, Hank, Oliver and Lucy, as well as granddaughter, Kennedy!

She has spent several years working for great organizations such as Sony, Onstad’s Insurance and for the University of Oregon Foundation. Tera’s hands-on-experience with corporations, insurance companies and universities has given her a well-rounded background and is a tremendous asset in tackling challenges head on.

Tera grew up in northern Montana and enjoyed living in Big Sky country before making Oregon her home. She enjoys running, volunteering, attending numerous sporting events of her three children, and exploring new outdoor adventures on weekends with her family.

Hailing from a lineage of meticulous record-keepers, Joan follows in the footsteps of a great legacy. Both her great grandfather and mother were skilled bookkeepers, imparting invaluable knowledge that has been woven into the fabric of Joan’s professional journey.

Beyond the realm of financial statements and ledgers, Joan finds joy in exploring the great outdoors. Hiking through the breathtaking landscapes of Northern California and Oregon, she draws inspiration from nature's balance—a quality mirrored in her meticulous approach to bookkeeping.
But perhaps the most cherished roles in Joan’s life are those of a dedicated parent and animal companion. As the proud mom to three children, Joan cherishes every moment spent nurturing their growth through the years. Adding to the warmth of her household is Sophie, the loyal canine companion who adds an extra layer of joy and companionship.
